  1. I guess we all want and need approval and attention. The problems begin when we are desperate for them.

  2. I am one that has continually added layer upon layer of fake selves in my attempt to find the one self I feel most comfortable with. And I still haven’t found it so I hope your training helps.

  3. My last awakening was when I was 19 and it’s been years since that moment. I really need another one…

  4. You probably needed to take care of that child so you could realize how much you two were alike. Great story! Thanks for sharing!

  5. I want to learn to love myself, as I am, with my defects. It’s something I’ve been struggling since childhood. I just want to feel good about myself.

    • Don’t worry, brother! You’ll get there and Dr. Tian is just the guy to help you with that. I’ve been through it a few years ago and I’m much better now, thanks to people like David.

  6. How in the world did you manage to take care of a small child and still have time for clubbing and all that others stuff?!

    • I was living with my girlfriend at the time, so she had primary care duties. But still, it was a juggle!

    • LIVE videos? I cannot believe he is finally going to be doing those. He has been talking about that for a little while now and I am just as pumped as you are about them!

  7. These have been fantastic. I have watched all three now and I am not only understanding where I went wrong but why and when it happened. I should have never set myself up for that game mentality. Such a toxic mindset that ultimately destroys you and all the women in your life.

  8. I was one of the worst kinds of kinds. I was always looking for the best woman so when I would meet one and start a relationship, I began seeing all their flaws. I wanted the “perfect woman” and what I didn’t know at the time is that she doesn’t exist, not in the sense I was looking anyways. So I would go in and out of relationships with these shallow women who cared just as much about their looks as I did. I am so thankful to have found you. I am nearly 40 years old and I don’t want to do this anymore.

  9. Your live coaching is amazing. If anyone watching these reads this, GO FOR IT! Get on his coaching. I have not only learned a lot about myself but I learned more about the people around me. I am finally understanding why I was the way I was and how to change it. You don’t want to live a shallow life with no substance.

  10. I can’t express how hard it has been for me to admit I had a problem. It was my brother who finally got it through to me. I was living a double life. On one hand I was myself and on the other, I was the “pimp” the man who got all the women, the one who knew what to say and how to say it. I could get any woman in bed with me. After I would do this however, I felt empty and I wanted more so I kept doing it. Eventually my brother stopped me and just said DUDE.YOU NEED HELP! I found your lessons here David and I am blown away.

    • Hey, really good job waking up and seeing the real you. Too bad it was not sooner so you didn’t waste so much of your life thinking you were the pimp that got all the ladies. Good for you!

  11. How do I get out of the conditional mindset? I feel like I only love people based on what they can give me and what they can do for me. I can’t help it. The second someone upsets me, I jumpy to “they don’t care”. Also, when they don’t do what I expect in my mind I just brush it off as “not love”. I honestly don’t even know what real love feels like.

    • I think you might have anger issues. That might be the only thing “wrong” with you, if you are asking for my opinion.

  12. WOW! I love your work David. When you explained what your went through holding that baby, I knew you got it. You realized just how dependent you were and that baby pulled the mask down for you. Congrats to you for being engaged as well! You did what most men don’t know how to do, just being YOU. I will share your messages everywhere. More men and even women need to watch these.

  13. I can’t agree more with you about going back again and again. I feel like I am just now understanding everything and I have watched so much of your work. I was looking for the fast method and I am glad I stuck it out and kept working. Thank you for this David. You are an amazing man. You bleed the truth.

  14. So when I envision what I want, I should write it all down and just meditate on it?

I swear you spoke to my soul. I have never felt worthy of love so I never knew how to give it. I am a mess and I am trying to fix myself and my marriage. My wife told me I need to learn to love myself or things wont last with us.

    • That is the best way to ensure that you have all that you want, inside your head so that you do not forget it. Good luck!

  15. This is the third video of yours that I have watched. I am going to join the live group for sure. I know I need to change but I feel myself fighting it. I have been a long time player and while I do want a relationship deep down, I don’t want the work. I know that is not a winning situation or mindset. I really hope my life 4 years from now is better.

    • Same with me. Things are a struggle every now and again, but I am getting through this one day at a time.

  16. In 4 years I would love to be married and starting a family. I would not have said this a few months ago but you have helped to to understand that I need to change the inside to get what I want on the outside. I recently broke off an engagement to a woman who was basically the female version of me. All my friends loved her, she was cocky, sexy, held her drinks well, knew how to charm her way out of anything… But she had been sleeping with not one, but two of my friends. This had been going on for the last 3 months and it was my mother who caught her. I am ready to start my future. I want to know what it is like to love who I am.

    • Hey dude, you are right about one thing and that thing is the same thing that I am thinking. Good work, we are on the same page now!

  17. The final piece of the puzzle! The 3rd video in your series and I am really starting to figure it out! Thanks for all that you do and I am looking forward to what you are bringing very soon.

    • Isn’t it great that we have all been there through all the videos? We are really learning a lot!

  18. I read through some of the comments here and I am still unsure if watching a video or two is going to change me. I realize that sometimes you need to have someone else point things out, but I never really thought about turning to the internet for help.

    • I think you just need to start watching the videos before you can be sure it will not help you.

    • That is why the “Awakenings” program exists 🙂 , if these few videos are not enough, Dave will personally tend to your needs.
And Why not use the internet? It is a nearly limitless place of knowledge you can access, your choice depends on your needs and the trust you put into certain knowledge. As once Dave said: “Better to sit here and learn than go out there and maybe ruin your reputation while learning it yourself.” (depends on what you want to learn).
Stay cool bro, never feel shame or doubt

  19. Of all the videos that I have watched that you made, this one has the best information in it for me. You do a great job of getting the point across and making a person realize what has to be changed, when and why.

  20. At first, I was a skeptic about how you were going to change the way I think about women and myself. But after watching this video, the 3rd one now, I am really starting to see what needs to be changed.

  21. People are idiots. If you cannot figure out why you are having issues, especially with the ladies, then you are dumb. Take a step back and look at yourself before you even start to think it might be someone else!

  22. When it comes to getting it right, there are few places that you can go online for that. However, David, your videos have really transformed me and I cannot believe it. I have more confidence, not fake confidence and things are really starting to change around for me. Thanks!

  23. Wow, your life is amazing. You are changing the way people think and that is great! What a great feeling that must bring to you and all the people that you have touched in your life.

    • Great work, he does. Keep up the comments and don’t forget to watch all of his other videos!

  24. Some people think they are so smart and they have it figured out. I am not so sure that is the case and now that I just watched your third video, I know that is true. You really have to dig deep down to figure out what you want, who you are and if you can make it work with the woman that you want. Thanks for all the great content.

  25. Things used to be great for me. That was when I thought I knew what I was doing. Now that I see your videos I can clearly tell myself that was not true. Thank you for opening my eyes. now I just have to figure out how to make the changes and STICK WITH THEM.

  26. When it comes to getting it right, we have all come to the right place. David has a bunch of great videos, if you have not seen them all, you should. The way he talks about the important things for men and how they should handle them is the best way that I have found.

  27. Awesome coaching, Davind. Been watching your recent videos they gave me a different perspective on the things that most coaches out there teach.

  28. This has got to be one of your best videos, you make your points so well, and so easy understandable for all of us.

  29. Feeling good with your true self if the best way to live, instead of creating a false one and living with it your whole life.

  30. Great message and perspective on true fulfillment david. It’s great to see coaches who have these different views (in a good way). Looking forward to your next video.

  31. It’s so great to see a coach who is so passionate on what he does and what he speaks. I really enjoy watching your helpful videos David. I’m singing up to your program. Keep up the great work.

  32. So many people put there cannot tell the difference between fulfillment and momentary, it’s refreshing to see someone who truly understands these things and teaches these things. Huge fan here 🙂

  33. damn, these video was deep and so good to watch, i can rely on this so much because i do have a false self sort of persona that i use to date etc, and it’s refreshing to see that this can be solved and it can be fixed. Where do i sign up? <3

  34. “You must love your self in order for someone to love you” I keep this saying in my head at all times and i love that this is the message of this video.

  35. Your story was so touching and its incredible to see where you are now as a person now you’re helping everyone out and sending a great message out there. Keep up the good work xxx

  36. I sincerely hope in 3 years, I have figured out how to 100% love myself. (don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty awesome but…) I do struggle with certain things, I’m a little shy & way way too nice, to everybody. Done “game” for years but it’s unfullfilling as fuck. I realise it’s, well a game, and this is real life.

I would like to be in a good committed relationship in 3 years with a quality woman. Hopefully moving towards long term relationship together & possibly even a little rugrat or two. I will be successful in all aspects of career, love, love of self (although I’m single & pretty good at that haha) & successful & genuinely happy in life.
(The last part, “happy….” I have not been since I was 20. I’m 38 now & so tired of it all).

Well here’s to writing it down….
Thank you David for the videos & tips, they are much appreciated!

  37. Sweet man. Thank you. Awesome vid, great knowledge presented well. Very helpful. Gonna work on loving my inner child! Cheers dude.

  38. I’ve completely lost myself at this point in my life. I’ve never been so alone and so miserable I can honestly say I hate myself. And I’m so miserable that no one wants to be around that misery so I’ve slowly lost every friend I’ve ever had and now I’m just alone. So I’m really hoping this is what I’ve been looking for because my life is passing me by so fast and I don’t want to die like I am now!

  39. Dude,

Not just 3 years, but I have ideas that I would like to last.
I want better photography gear – so I can capture all sorts of cool and beautiful photographs, photographing is my passion, aspecially when I feel an impulse and capture a moment or sight that ends up breathtaking (mostly, sometimes I get clumsy xD ).. This is also my main line of work, I like sharing my work so I can awake certain emotions in people when they see my work, and if they get interested and call me for a shoot – that is even better, I get more chances to see beautiful things and cash 😀
Yep, I like cash, cash gets me stuff that I like.
I like doing videography, like a storyteller, making a good story (for cash or not, just like photorgraphy) makes me feel good – like an ode to something I find interesting that preserves it and attempts to make it immortal (or at least last longer in a sence). Small example, a video I made about a party: https://vimeo.com/249007072 (making this was a treat)
I also shoot on film, and I would like to find a way to make it rival digital photography when it comes to quality.
I like eating tasty food, I have always enjoyed this part of my life and I always will. Making food and eating it makes me feel even more better. For example, I like baking a special sort of bread from a special sort of black flour, it is just so frigging nutritious and tasty. Also need to make a sweet cake, haven’t made one in a while ^^”
Traveling, getting to experience new things I find interesting, yada yada yada, buying an old timer, seeing good bands, collecting stuff I believe have outstanding worth, going to work abroad and earning huge amounts of money to spoil the shit out of the inner child inside of me 😀 😀

Currently working in a car wash and sometimes filming/photographing for additional cash.
From spring – starting work in a photography workshop.
Just saying, to let all of you know I haven’t lost my sense of reality 🙂
••• This is part of how people open up when they get into the program 😉 xD

  40. Wow looking for that email, I need this was married 23yrs to convert npd just broke up with shark Closter b. My mom and grandma were npd. Help this is so old and crazy , I’m getting tired.

  41. I see myself 3 years from now with a house of my own with property else where. I see myself married to a beautiful human being that respects an accepts me and we grow together. An I see myself happy in career, life, travel, family.

  42. Hey David , I follow your work trough YouTube and came here by the email subscription. Have you ever wrote a book about your knowledge in relationships and life ? I’d gladly eat all the pages . There are a few coaches out there doing the same but different things , if you know what I mean , and I relate to your experience in a way I believe your path is the one that talks to me the most . Greetings from Brazil !

  43. Hi David,

It’s amazing how you keep creating content that leaves my thoughts wander and reach “aha” moments days, sometimes weeks after. I was wondering, is it still possible to heal your inner child and still be able to stay on the new ‘path’ while for instance your parents are still stuck on the old ‘vortex’ so to say?

I just bought the book “The Drama of the Gifted Child”. Since I have to save some money for this program I will start out with that.

Really thorough great work as always.

  44. I’ve watched all three videos. As my was watching them, I wandering when you would was going to hit on the recluse; just as I was thinking that you started talking about it.
I dropped out of my social circle when my second marriage faild. Thinking about it, it has been 11 years now and I have not even been on a date.
I’m so glad you sent me this email. It’s about time I started working on this problem.

  45. If I loved myself as I love my children? In three years? I am unsure. For the most part I believe what I am truly lacking is respect for myself. Especially when drawing a boundary line. I think there may be some underlying insecurities that keep the chalk in my pocket and not on the pavement where it is meant to be. Using the “respect myself” in replace of Love myself? I think in three years my career life will have greatly improved. Possibly more respect from some peers. As far as a relationship with a woman that I would consider to be worth while? I mean the most obvious plus from that. Would be that she is one who respects the boundaries I have made, as well as is aware of them. Maybe starts the relationship off with a sense of understanding, mutual respect and possibly gives her a sense that I am firm, assertive and clear??? I.d.k.
